CLC - Creative Learning Centre is a language school and Training Centre. Its existence follows from the activity carried out for several years by its managing partner, specialized in primary, secondary and higher educational training . This experience has made it possible to create a project centered on the goals and learning needs of each individual.
Founded in 2007, CLC - Creative Learning Centre has welcomed students, private individuals and professionals from various business sectors, acquiring training while ranging support for primary , secondary and higher education; support for professional training tailored for companies.
Most of our trainers and language teachers - academically qualified in Education - are native or bilingual, an aspect that ensures the quality and professionalism of their work.
CLC is an accredited school, by DGERT, in five areas:
- Languages and Cultures
- Soft Skills: Personal Development
- Soft Skills: Company Integration
- Mathematics
- Computing
CLC - Creative Learning Centre also provides:
- translation services namely English, French, Spanish, German, Mandarin, Arabic;
- proof reading of academic papers.
Ana Aguilar Franco
Founder and Pedagogic Director
Ana Aguilar Franco holds a doctorate in Literature and Culture, specializing in American Studies with a thesis José Rodrigues Miguéis: Traveler between Cultures; obtained a MA in English Studies, with a dissertation Ralph Waldo Emerson: A Reflection on his Poetry . Is also a researcher at the Centre for English Studies, University of Lisbon (CEAUL) and taught at the Faculty of Letters, University of Lisbon as well as at the Instituto Superior de Novas Profissões (Higher Education Institute for New Careers).She has presented and published work in several areas: Literature and American Culture, Literature and Portuguese Culture, Portuguese Language as a Foreign Language, Translation and Luso-Americanness.
